Jammu, August 23: Union Home Minister Amit Shah has posed a series of pertinent questions to Rahul Gandhi , Congress leader who has pushed his party’s alliance with National Conference evoking the dynamics of the national security and the prime concern of the people of J&K against the backdrop of renewed political partnership of National Conference and Congress ahead of the historic Assembly polls.
Taking strong exception to the alliance , which in view of many , seemed to be inclination of Congress pandering to the pro-Article 370 stand of the National Conference , and toward review of the reservation accorded to marginalized sections of J&K population following the abrogation of Article 370 .
Home Minister Amit Shah on his X handle has listed some of the points of National Conference manifesto that was released on Tuesday with a promise to restore Article 370 and Article 35 A and a relook at the reservations accorded to the sections in J&K since August 5, 2019 , and asked Rahul Gandhi to clarify his position vis-à-vis reservation for Gujjars, Pahari’s, and welfare measures that have been taken for Dalits, and all others .

This is a pertinent question as till date Rahul Gandhi has not made his position clear on Article 370 and rushed into alliance with National Conference that has pledged to do away with the August 5 , 2019 decisions that the Narendra Modi government took by abolishing the Article 370 .
Home Minister in his post on social media platform X has asked Rahul Gandhi to explain to the nation does he stand with the revocation of the reservation of the marginalized sections in J&K that became possible only after the Modi government did away with Article 370 .
