Srinagar, Apr 25: A house was badly damaged in a blast during a search operation carried out by security forces in a village in Tral South Kashmir’s sources said on Friday.
Police sources told that during the cordon and search operation, some suspicious objects were noticed by the security forces. “Sensing potential danger, the forces swiftly pulled back to ensure safety,” sources said.
However, shortly after the retraction, a powerful blast occurred, causing severe damage to the house. Preliminary inputs suggest the presence of some explosive material inside the premises. Further investigation is underway.
