JAMMU, January 6: Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC) of University of Jammu today organized an interaction session on oro-dental health and its maintenance under orientation programme for the Assistant Professors of various colleges of J&K and outside.

Dr.Gautam Sharma, Dental Surgeon, University of Jammu and ex-president Indian Dental Association (IDA) was resource person on the occasion. Prof. Rahul Gupta, Dean Mathematical Sciences introduced the speaker to audiences.

He also stressed that brushing twice daily with a soft bristle toothbrush, avoiding sweet and sticky foods like candies, toffees, chocolates will reduce the risk of caries and periodontal problems in children and adults.

Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC) of University of Jammu  regularly organises orientation courses for the faculty of University and colleges of J&K as well as other states.
