Hosts India on Tuesday announced their final 15-man squad for the upcoming ODI World Cup. With just under a month left for the month-long extravaganza which will start on October 5 and end on November 19, all eyes were glued on the press conference where the men In Blue’s squad will be selected.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) senior national selection committee on late Saturday night have already picked the squad with KL Rahul finding a place in the team as Sanju Samson is likely to miss out.
Along with Samson, Tilak Varma and Prasidh Krishna, who are in Sri Lanka at the moment for the aforementioned Asia Cup, are also unlikely to find a place in the World Cup squad.
