In Europe, leaders sounded alarms about the outbreak untamed as France climbed to a record, while the Spanish government declared a state of emergency for the Madrid region.

In UK, government warned that the outbreak is “getting out of control”. As the government seeks to curb the accelerating spread, Prime Minister Boris Johnson is expected to make a statement to parliament on Monday about potential new lockdown restrictions.

In the United States, worst-hit country by the Covid-19, the number of infection reached 7,659,932. While US President Donald Trump announced his first his first in-person event, at the White House on Saturday, since contracting Covid-19, and plans to hold a rally in Florida on Monday.
