In his confession Islamic State of Jammu and Kashmir Malik Umaid revealed that he was assigned to execute a terror attack in the UT of J&K.
The police said that he was arrested from Jhajjar Kotli area of Jammu on Sunday evening . A pistol , ammunition and cash of Rs 1.13 lakh was recovered from his possession.
The police by its timely action has averted a major terror attack in J&K.
