After smooth and peaceful conduct of programmes to celebrate Republic Day 2018 across the Jammu, Police compliments all ranks of JKP as well as Army, CRPF and other agencies who worked in close coordination to foil nefarious designs of anti-social/anti-national elements in ensuring peaceful Republic Day celebrations.
For weeks together, men of Jammu Police and other forces worked in close coordination to ensure tight security arrangements across the district.
Even senior officers across the district performed patrolling in night hours for the last few weeks to ensure that security arrangements are strengthened in view of Republic Day celebration and shifting of border villagers to the safer places during recent cease fire violation by Pakistan on LOC/IB.
