Jammu University Cricket (Men) team won its second match of North Zone Inter University Cricket (M) Tournament organized by MDU, Rohtak by beating DAV Jalandhar by 8 wickets.
Batting first DAV, Jalandhar scored 120 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 9 wickets. Aakash scored 27, Sourav scored 13 and Kunal scored 13.
For Jammu University Cricket (M) Team Henan Malik, ManjeetKotwal and Jaggar Khan took 2 wickets each and Manpreet took 1 wicket.
Jammu University scored 121 runs in 12.1 over for the loss of 2 wickets and won the match by 8 wickets. Henan Malik scored 82 not out. Jagjit scored 19 runs. For DAV, Jalandhar Akash took 1 wicket.
Earlier in the first match on 15 December, 2018, Jammu University Cricket (M) team beat GBU Noida by 42 runs. In this match Henan Malik scored 70 runs and was declared man of the match.
Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu congratulated the team and applauded the efforts of players and coach of the team and wish them to perform their best skills in rest of the matches.
