Srinagar, June 13: A junior engineer and another employee of PDD were injured in a transformer blast in Budgam on Friday.
The incident occurred earlier in the day, triggering a swift response from emergency personnel. Fire and Emergency Services, along with teams from Budgam Police, rushed to the site and secured the area to prevent any further mishap.
The injured, identified as a Junior Engineer and a technical assistant, were immediately evacuated to Budgam District Hospital. Medical officials confirmed that both men are in stable condition and are receiving appropriate care.
“A detailed investigation is underway to ascertain the exact cause of the blast. Prima facie, the blast occurred due to a malfunction,” Police said
