Jammu and Kashmir government has filed a review petition before the High Court
seeking review of its order on retrieving the land from the beneficiaries of the Roshni scheme of early 2000s in an interesting twist after the government made public the names of the “ influential “ beneficiaries of the scheme.
The petition has sought review of the October 9 order of the High Court and sought exec for the poor and the landless.
This petition has come at a time when BJP has made it a political narrative during the DDC or District Development Council polls targeting the opposition, particularly National Conference, PDP and Congress.
It has come to light that many beneficiaries include BJP leaders as well.
