Jammu and Kashmir Police organised a real time automation training session in collaboration with Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd Jammu retail territory at Conference hall, District Police Lines Jammu to streamline the functioning of J&K Police fuel care pumps. Rajinder Kumar Gupta, AIG Welfare PHQ, was the chief guest on the occasion.

All the in-charges and staff deputed for accounting from all five Police run Retail offices in J&K along with various other Police officials participated in the session.

The entire BPCL team headed by Territorial Manager Retail Jammu Eshu, Sales Officer Sameer Qayoom and Dushyant Sharma, Engineering Officer Ajay Kumar Singh and Sundeep Devnani were present during the session.

The session was aimed at to streamline the functioning and to ensure more transparency of J&K Police Pariwar fuel care pumps working under the aegis of Police Wives Welfare Association (PWWA). The topics which were covered in the session includes, what is automation, framework of automation, introduction to various components of automation, daily activities to be carried by RO in-charge, various reports/logs available in automation, sales accounting and gain/loss calculation through automation, TT receipts in automation, IRIS interlocks and their need and handling, UFILL and integrated payment system (IPS)

Afterwards, a hands-on training session of Automation of all five ROs was conducted at the Police Parivar Petrol Pump at Gandhinagar, Jammu.
