- DIG JKS Range Sh Shiv Kumar Sharma-IPS held a security review and operational preparedness meeting at Dak Bunglow Billawar. The meeting was attended by ADC Billawar Sh Vinay Khosla., SP ops Billawar Amir, SDPO Billawar Neeraj Padyar /SHO Billawar Zaheer Manas Army officer, CRPF officers, officers of int agencies and officer from civil department.
- A thread wear discussion takes place in the meeting about the present security scenario and actions to be taken to thawart the nefarious design of the Anti National Elements. Officers in the meeting shared their ideas and views with regards to the presence of ANEs and step taken to eleminate them. They also briefed DIG about the challenges faced by them during the operations .
- DIG JKS range briefed all the officer present in the meeting to take all necessary step to maintain peace and harmony in the area. He also focus on the operational preparedness of JK Police and all other security forces and direct all agencies to work in more coordinated manner and synergy. He also direct all other civil departments to create infrastructure like good road connectivity, electricity, water and other development requirements for betterment of forces deployed in the far flung areas and newly established Camps by Forces.
- While concluding in the end DIG JKS range hail the efforts of all Forces and Civil counterparts for good coordination and joint effort to maintain peace and harmony.
- Public of Billawar and Higher Reaches Billawar appealed to give timely information to Police, Nearest Army ,SOG camps, Local VDG s regarding any suspicious persons, Suspicious Movement, and a y kind of assistance required with respect to Security concern ,
- DIG JKS Range also requested to the Public to maintain peace and Communal Hormony, people should not give much attention to rumour n fake news, some Anti Social and Anti National Elements are trying to disrupt the peaceful atmosphere of Billawar , strict action will be taken against rumour mongers.
