JAMMU, JUNE 9:
Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited’s (JPDCL) Techno Economic Committee (TEC) today cleared and subsequently approved several power supply schemes for Jammu division.
The TEC which met here under the chairpersonship of Managing Director, JPDCL, Yasha Mudgal discussed, deliberated and accorded technical sanction to the various schemes.
The meeting was also attended by Chief Engineer (Distribution) JPDCL, Chief Engineer (Planning and Procurement) JPDCL, Chief Engineer (Projects) JPDCL and Chief Accounts Officer and JPDCL Jammu.
The committee approved power supply to newly created MA Stadium amounting to Rs. 123.84 lakh in Jammu district while in Kathua district three schemes for creation of Receiving Stations at Jakhole, Janglote and Sahar Logate amounting to Rs. 3008.70 lakh were approved.
Similarly, in Doda district three Schemes for construction of Receiving Station at Doda, Kastigarh and Muller (Chatroo), Kishtwar amounting to Rs. 1437.66 lakh were approved and in district Udhampur one Scheme amounting to Rs. 607.50 lakh was approved.
