The Jammu Tawi Golf Course(JTGC) management on Friday organized an awareness-cum-medical camp in collaboration with Department of Indian System of Medicines, here at its Panchkarma Centre.
The aim to organize the camp was to sensitize the members and workers of JTGC associated with the measures for protection against the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
Dr Harbakh Singh delivered a lecture on the rich heritage of Ayurvedic system of medicine. He highlighted the advantages of Ayurvedic medicine and invited the people to come forward to avail the benefits of the services of the indigenous system of medicines during the prevailing situation. He informed that the indigenous medicine system is more effective in prevention and cure of the disease. “The Ayurvedic medicines have no side effect,” he added.
During the interaction session, the team of doctors including Dr Shefali and Dr. Supreet Kaur discussed about the common health problems and provided participants required advice to prevent the diseases in general and COVID-19 in particular.
During the camp, a large number of members and employees of JTGC participated.
Free of cost Ayurvedic medicines for boosting immunity and preventing COVID-19, besides masks, were also distributed among the participants.
