National Conference, president and Lok Sabha MP from Srinagar, Dr Farooq Abdullah said that people of Kashmir are being frustrated and irritated with the system and all are not supporters of Pakistan.

Dr Abdullah was speaking to media persons at a private office in Channi area today and said that very few people in Kashmir are supporters of Pak and maximum are just irritated with the system and political set up has to address their grievances.

To bring confidence in Kashmiri people, Dr Abdullah said that there is a dire need of opposition and government should have come on a common platform and talk to the people in detail.

The NC president said that talks between both the neighbouring nations is the only alternate to bring peace of borders. He added that talks is the only solution, war is not the solution as we had fought four wars, but the situation is still tense and civilians on the both sides of LoC and IB are the real sufferers.

On the present state government, Dr Farooq Abdullah said that PDP-BJP is a self styled government and not having any planning for development and peace and that’s why people in the state are not satisfied with its working. He added that if NC will come to power in the state, it will have separate plans for all the three regions of J&K.

Commenting on the celebration of Pakistan Day by Kashmiri Separatist leader, Asiya Andrabi in the Valley, the sitting Lok Sabha MP from Srinagar said that this is wrong and this should not be happen. He added that in Kashmir there is very small chunk of people, which supports Pakistan, otherwise people are frustrated and irritated.
