In continuation to the drive against illegal sale of liquor, Kathua Police apprehended one bootlegger with 54 pouches of JK Excise liquor 180 ml each in the jurisdiction of Police Post Nagri.
Acting on specific information Police party of Police Post Nagri led by SI Vikas Jasrotia Incharge PP Nagri alongwith ASI Somraj under the direct supervision of SS Sambgal Dy.SP Headquarters Kathua laid special naka at Goond falling in the jurisdiction of Police Post Nagri and intercepted one person namely Yash paul of Goond Nagri Kathua.Police team recovered 54 pouches of liquor 180 ml each of JK excise from his possession. The accused was arrested and a case
FIR No.12/2017 U/S 48 a Excise Act stands registered and further investigation is in progress. The police action was conducted under the supervision of Sanjay Parihar JKPS Addl SP Kathua and overall supervision of Mohd Suleman Choudhary SSP Kathua.
