The demolition drives have been continuously launched by the Lakes and Waterways Development Authority from the last few days through its Enforcement Wing. In this regard, several demolitions were conducted in the area of Harwan, Saidakadal, Nishat & Habak in collaboration with concerned Police Stations which includes Plinth, two single storeys and third storey which were raised by some violators taking the undue advantage of the prevailing situation in the valley. Also FIR’s were registered in the concerned police stations against the violators.
All the public residing within the LDA jurisdiction & inlake are hereby once again directed not to go for any sort of illegal constructions / encroachments, as the Enforcement wing will continue with demolition of illegal constructions/ removal of encroachments. Moreover the Tipper/Load carried owners are directed not carry / ferry any construction material in the prohibited area of Dal/ Nigeen Lake without getting permission and in case anybody found shall be dealt as per law.
