The Jammu and Kashmir police on Friday arrested a militant of LeT outfit in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Pulwama police apprehended a categorised militant identified as Shamim Sofi son of Ghulam Mohammad Sofi of Nikloora.
Incriminating material including arms and ammunition were also recovered from his possession.
“Pulwama Police & SFs apprehended one categorised #terrorist affiliated with proscribed #terror outfit LeT namely Shamim Sofi S/O Gh Mohammad Sofi R/O Nikloora. #Incriminating materials including arms & ammunition recovered,” Kashmir Zone police Tweeted.
