In a big reach out to the people across Jammu and Kashmir, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha announced a big economic package of Rs 1350Cr to ease the economic distress that the people in the Union Territory had been facing for the past over several years.
Manoj Sinha in his press conference on Saturday announced exemption from the stamp duty, concession in the electricity and water bills in response to the demands that various sections of society had listed before him ever since he took over as LG on August 7.
Sinha said that the UT would soon be getting a new industrial policy that will take care of all the economic issues raised by the stakeholders before him from time to time. The policy would be having content and it would be delivering benefits fast to the people . “ Everything would be time bound.”
The economic package will benefit all sections of people across J&K.
