Srinagar, July 23: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha who has piloted many new projects on Tuesday hailed the union budget as a giant step toward “ Viksit Bharat “ and full of rapid benefits for J&K, in particular for youth .
Manoj Sinha in his post expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman for such an inspiring budget.
He wrote “ My heartfelt gratitude to Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji & Finance Minister Smt Nirmala Sitharaman Ji for a visionary #Budget2024 which will intensify economic growth, facilitate far-reaching reforms for ‘Viksit Bharat’ & increase the ‘Ease of Doing Business’ & the ‘Ease of Living’.
This budget with focus on employment, skilling, MSMEs & the middle class, seeks to translate the vision of empowering all sections of the population. 9 priorities for generating ample opportunities for all as envisaged in the budget will ensure faster progress and social equity.
The #Budget2024 provides unlimited opportunities to youth, women, farmers and entrepreneurs and lays down plans for prosperous rural India. The budget will speed up development of a robust agriculture infrastructure and urban development.
Focus on productivity & resilience in agriculture and measures highlighted in budget will greatly benefit J&K. Natural farming, mission for oilseeds, vegetable production, supply chains & national cooperation will ensure inclusive growth for farmers, villages and labourers.
