Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has vowed that terrorism will be uprooted from Jammu and Kashmir and has declared that all those indulging in killings and bloodshed in the Union territory would be brought to justice.
While condemning the killing of Municipal Councillor of Tral Rakesh Pandita last night, Sinha in a tweet said “ terrorists will never succeed in their nefarious designs , and those responsible for such heinous acts shall be brought to justice.”
In his condolence message , he said in a tweet : “ Saddened to hear about the terror attack on the Councillor Rakesh Pandits in Tral , Pulwama . I strongly condemn the attack. My condolences to the bereaved family in this time of grief.”
Rakesh Pandits was shot dead in Tral last night. He was a Municipal Councillor in the area.
