Jammu, June 05: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha visited Katra on Thursday to review arrangements for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit in the town tomorrow to flag off an all- season train to Srinagar, fulfilling more than a century old dream for the people of J&K , reinforcing nation’s commitment to take this UT on the path of progress and prosperity.

In a post on Facebook, the LG who has been a fellow traveller in PM led caravan for the past five years in development , said :” Visited the venue in Katra to review arrangements for Hon’ble PM Sh Narendra Modi Ji’s public meeting tomorrow. Dedication of Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link to the nation by Hon’ble PM Sh Narendra Modi ji is a historic leap for J&K UT.”
He added: “ J&K UT is stronger , prosperous than ever & witnessed unprecedented growth under leadership of Hon’ble PM Sh Narendra Modi ji. Inauguration & foundation stone laying of key infra projects are examples of his commitment to J&K to ensure speedy and inclusive development.
