Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha ill inaugurate the 8 km stretch of 58.25 km long prestigious ring road project from (Akhnoor roady to Bhalwal) this noon alongwith MoS PMO Dr. Jatinter Singh, Member Parliament Jugal Kishore and Rajya Sabha member Shamsher Singh.

The foundation stone for 58.25 km-long Jammu Ring road was laid by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 19 last year.

The project would cost Rs 1891 crores.

The idea behind the construction of this road was to decongest the Jammu city.

On his first visit to Jammu after taking oath as Lt Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha of Thursday had visited Reasi  to take stock of the developmental he also pay obeisance at Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine in Katra.
