SAMBA, JULY 18:
In view of the latest spur in covid 19 cases, District Magistrate Samba, Rohit Khajuria, today ordered complete lockdown in tehsil Vijaypur from July 19 to July 24.
“It has been noted with concern that in last few days after relaxation in lockdown conditions, COVID positive cases have been increasing day by day in tehsil Vijaypur. In order to prevent the spread of covid 19, a complete lockdown has been imposed in tehsil Vijaypur, w.e.f 19/07/20 to 24/07/2020” the lockdown order reads.
However, the essential services- Doctor Clinics, chemist shops, homeopathy shops, Ayurvedic shops, testing laboratory, will remain open from 9 AM to 8 PM. while grocery shops, Milk shops, bakery shops, fruits and vegetable shops will remain open from 7am to 12 noon only, the order reads further.
As per the order, any body found violating the order will be dealt firmly.
