Kolkata, March 14: West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee has suffered a major injury in an accident, the All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) announced on Thursday. According to reports, she has been taken to the state-run SSKM hospital in Kolkata.
The TMC shared the news of Banerjee’s injury on X, formerly known as Twitter, by sharing a picture of her in which her forehead can be seen bleeding. “Our chairperson @MamataOfficial sustained a major injury. Please keep her in your prayers,” TMC wrote.
