Jammu, June 26: A pilgrim travelling to Vaishnodevi with his friends died after falling from a train in Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur district, police said today.
Jagdish dudaga ( 38) son of Leela Ram Dudaga resident of sector 25 c Dwarapuri sector D of indore Madhya Pradesh was standing at the door of coach in the train today when he slipped and fell near the Chak Rakhwala. area, they said.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead, officials said, adding that family members have been informed and they will reach tomorrow here and the body will be handed over to them after conducting postmortem.
