Jammu, May 11: An elderly man jumped into river Chenab in Jammu on Thursday even as he was saved by timely action of SDRF.
An official said that an elderly man front Kana Chak jumped into river Chenab from Steel bridge Akhnoor.
He said that SDRF team headed by SI Sahab Singh saved his life by rescuing him and said person has been shifted at SDH Akhnoor for treatment.
Meanwhile police have taken cognizance and started investigation
