Udhampur Oct 31: Martyr captain Tushar memorial trust and Udhampur Civil Society accorded an enthusiastic welcome to Sushri Shagun Sharma newly elected Member legislative assembly from Kishtwar on his arrival here at udhampur .

Shagun Parihar, at just 29 years old, has emerged as the youngest winner of the 2024 Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections. Her victory in Kishtwar, a district often plagued by militancy, carries profound personal significance.
They added Shagun’s journey into politics is marked by tragedy. Her father, Ajit Parihar, a BJPfunctionary, and her uncle Anil were murdered by terrorists just days before the panchayat elections on November 1, 2018. Speakers appreciated commitment of parihar towards society and nation as woman and wish her best wishes .
