Union MoS Babul Suprio, renowned Singer Suresh Wadkar confers the award

Meenu Mahajan, daughter of soil has been conferred with Mother Teresa Memorial Award in the presence of Union MoS for Heavy Industries and Public Enterprise, Babul Suprio, Bollywood singer Suresh Wadker and Musician Lalit Pandit and Dr. Abhiram Kulshreshth at 12th Countrywide Impact Awards and Convocation held recently at Russian centre of Science and culture, New Delhi.
Meenu Mahajan was honoured with the prestigious award for her contribution in serving the society. She has been awarded with such national awards in the preceding year and has also won Mrs.India Exquisite 2016.
She is the first married woman from Jammu Kashmir to win Indian beauty pageant and made her mark in the glamour world. Since then she has become a source of Inspiration for other married women of Jammu and Kashmir to come forward and fulfill their dreams.
