Srinagar, June 02: PDP chief and former chief minister of the state of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday stepped into premises of Raj Bhavan in Srinagar for the first time in seven years , to meet LG Manoj Sinha.
Ever since she quit as Chief Minister In June 2018 , it’s for the first time she entered Raj Bhavan in Srinagar, though she had made a courtesy call to the then Governor N N Vohra, two days after sending resignation of her Government. BJP , which
had been in alliance with PDP for over three years, withdraw its support to Mehbooba Mufti government on June 19, 2018.
A press release issued by Raj Bhavan said: “Ms. Mehbooba Mufti, former Chief Minister of J&K and President, Jammu & Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party called on Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha, at Raj Bhawan today.
Ms. Mufti discussed various important matters including smooth conduct of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra and dignified return and rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandit Community in the valley.”
