The UT government has set November 15 deadline for former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to vacate her Fairview residence on Gupkar road . The notice was issued on Wednesday evening.The notice has stated that the Estates Department didn’t find her reply to retain the accommodation as satisfactory. It said her reply doesn’t justify retention of the House to which she was entitled as long as she was the chief minister.The Estates Department has reminded her of the 2020 orders of government of Indua , by way of which former chief ministers were not entitled to the official residence.However, it has been stated that alternate accommodation that will take care of her security needs will be provided to her.
