Srinagar, September 21:

Ministry of Home  Affairs Friday asked the J&K government to provide it with  all the details how the policemen were abducted and killed and what measures were in place to restrict the movement of the militants after Hizb-ul-Mujahadeen had  thrown an open threat to them in the videos in circulation since beginning of the week.

Sources said that the Home Ministry has taken the whole thing very seriously  and demanded all the records from the State government of the previous incidents and how it had  gone about in protecting the policemen . The Home Ministry’s annoyance was clear when it asked the questions, “ why it happened and how it happened,” the sources said.

This is not for the first time that the policemen have been abducted or killed but the timings and the brutality has  caused  a deep sense of anxiety among the people . The MHA is also concerned about the security and safety of the families of policemen in Kashmir, particularly South Kashmir.
