On the written complaint of Reeta devi that her minor daughter (name withheld) was molested and raped by one Deep Singh S/O Veer Singh R/O Dub Jagir Pouni while he lured her (daughter) for preparation of domicile certificate. With the criminal intention accused took her to village Sudhini by Kothian Road on motorcycle and reaching at secluded place molested & raped minor helpless alone girl in the isolated place. On getting this application case FIR no 46/2021 U/S 376 IPC, 4 POSCO Act is lodged in Police Station Pouni and further investigation of the case is going on.
Team of Police Station Pouni swung into action, reached on the spot, immediately medical examination of the victim was conducted by constituting board of doctors in District Hospital Reasi.
Meanwhile another Police team lost no time, raided possible places of his presence & arrested the accused within few hours of commission & reporting of heinous crime.
Sensing the gravity of the offence SSP Reasi Sh Shailender Singh visited Police Station Pouni and directed the investigating officer to investigate the case on merits & final report be presented before Hon’ble Court at the earliest.
