Monsoon is about to hit J&K with all its fury from tomorrow- Monday and the mercury is likely to drop by 5 to 6 degrees Celsius.
Monsoo. winds are likely to strengthen over J&K by tomorrow and may lead to moderate to heavy rain showers over Jammu region, light to moderate rainfall is expected over Kashmir as well. Both south-easterly and north-westerly winds will be responsible for the rainfall.
No continuous rainfall is expected during the next three days, however, thundershowers are likely to keep the mercury in check.
Day temperature in Jammu is expected to remain below 35°C while in Kashmir mercury may stay below 29°C.
Due to heavy rain showers, there are chances of flash floods in some parts of Jammu region and people need to remain vigilant.
