Today table top exercise is conducted by 13 NDRF in Leh District Headquarters on Earthquake. Meeting was chaired by Shrikant Balasaheb Suse, IAS, and attended by officials of civil administration including ADC, SP, Chief Engineer official of fire services , Traffic police, medical , health deptt, NHPC, revenue , tourism, education , Himank, BRO. Meeting also attended by the rep of Army (G1 ops HQ Leh Sub Area, rep of CAPF deployed in Leh. On behalf of Comdt 13 NDRF, Asst Comdt Dev Darshan Belwal presented the briefing with due deliberation with aim of mock exercise , role and capabilities of NDRF, and painted well thought out situation for Mock exercise.
At the end deliberate discussion on possible situations which likely will/may arise had been painted in presentation, where each present stake holder of DM present in the meeting discussed the issues in their length and breadth. At last DC Leh conveyed his heartfelt thanks to the team 13 NDRF for conducting exercise in Leh district and also brief about the Leh District Disaster Management Plan and seek points for improvement in it with NDRF team being an expert agency.
