The “ApnaPed” program was organized by Salal Power Station under the Van Mahotsav2020 with the aim of greening the Jyotipuram residential complex area. Sh. N. Ram, Head of Power Station,Salal Power Station and his wife Mrs. Pushplatainaugurated the program by planting saplings. On this occasion, other officers of NHPC and CISF officers andsoldiers, planted around 70 saplings of Amla, Bel, Mango and Guava plants in the residential complex, Jyotipuram to contributeto the success of the program.
Addressing the people present on the occasion, Sh. N. Ram, Head of Power Station said that this initiative of tree plantation should be taken enthusiastically and as a campaign during the monsoon. He said that taking advantage of this season, more and more trees should be planted on the barren land in the township and power station area.
Today’s “Apnaped” program was taken as part of the ongoing plantation drive in Jyotipuram residential complex during monsoon, in which plants of various varieties like amla,Jamun, guava, neem, etc. are being planted continuously.
