On examining the High Court directions the Public Works Department has noted that there was no merit in promotion of Tashi Namgial as Superintending Engineer (SE) . He had sought High Court’s intervention to promote him which was declined by the government pending clearance of the Vigilance Organisation Kashmir.
According to the order signed by the Principal Secretary of Public Works Department, Shailendra Kumar the department in compliance to the “Hon’ble High Court orders” again considered promotion of Tashi Namgial and found devoid of merit due to absence of Vigilance Clearance, work & conduct and integrity certificates, “which is pre-requisite.”
