Northern Command chief visits forward areas in Surankote , reviews Operational Preparedness

Jammu, September 01: The Northern Command chief of the Indian Army , Lt Gen. Upendra Dwivedi, visited forward areas in Surankote and reviewed operational preparedness.
He was briefed by local commanders of the army about the situation at the LoC and hinterland.
Surankote is one of the most critical areas in the border region of Poonch from the national security point of view.
