Srinagar, August 27: All the suspense over NC vice president Omar Abdullah contesting polls is over , he will be contesting from Ganderbal . Party said in the list of nine names released on Tuesday.
Omar had lost his debut Assembly poll in 2002 from Ganderbal constituency, but won from the same constituency in 2008 and subsequently became chief minister in NC – Congress coalition government. Omar shifted his constituency in 2014, won from Beerwah and lost in Sonwar.
