It was tricolour 🇮🇳 of Indian national flag, he refused to cut it . He wrapped the ribbon with utmost respect for the tricolour, marking the inauguration of the ceremony.
It showed many things all at once – his and his government’s respect and commitment to the dignity of national tricolour, sitting with National Conference’s commitment to the Indian sovereignty in Jammu and Kashmir, and also a rebuff to those sitting across the border by affirming that Kashmir is integral part of India.
And at the same time, he silenced all the critics of his party, government and family questioning their loyalty to the nation .
Omar has shown the way that he is on the frontline of commitment and loyalty to India and tricolour. All questions answered with one gesture, which is worth more than dozens of Tiranga rallies.
