Jammu, May 10: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Saturday morning wondered how could International Monetary Fund ( IMF) could sanction fresh loan to Pakistan when the country in question is using its ordnance to devastate cities and towns in J&K.
In a post on X, Omar who is in Jammu since yesterday monitoring the situation arising out of Indo-Pak tensions , wrote “I’m not sure how the “International Community” thinks the current tension in the subcontinent will be de-escalated when the IMF essentially reimburses Pakistan for all the ordnance it is using to devastate Poonch, Rajouri, Uri, Tangdhar & so many other places.”
