Srinagar, Nov 23, 2023: Academy of Hospital Administration Kashmir Chapter in Association with Academy of Hospital Administration AHA India organised one Day CME on Update in Healthcare Management at Auditorium of Sher- E -Kashmir Institute of Medical Sicences Soura Srinagar today.
The CME was Inaugrated by Prof ( Dr ) Parviaz Koul , Director SKIMS Soura Srinagar who was the Chief Guest.
Dr Parvaiz Koul in his Inaugural Adress has Complemented and acknowledged the outstanding Contributions of AHA India headed by Dr Yashpal Sharma who is heading this Most professional organisation in the Country and espically giving Special focus to J& K for professional Skills Development of all kind of Health care professionals . His services as Director Coordination are giving much more boost Throgh Govt for involving all Institutions for their Updates in Health Care.
He also Complimented Prof ( Dr ) Farooq A Jan Medical Suprintendent SKIMS Soura and President AHA Kashmir Chapter and his team for organising this event at SKIMS through AHA India. He also assured for all kind of Administrative and technical support for Such Programmes in Future also.
Dr Yashpal Sharma National President Academy of Hospital Administration AHA India and Director Coordination New Medical Colleges J & K during his adress in the Inaugural Session has highlighted the need of Such Mangement Development Programmes and CMEs for Health care professionals to enhence not only their Knowledge and Skills but to reach to the Community Level where it is basically required . He also stressed upon the Health Administrators working in different positions to create a pool of most dedicated professionals , so that the desired results are achieved.
Prof ( Dr ) Farooq A Jan President AHA Kashmir Chapter and Medical Suprintendent SKIMS Soura in his welcome Adress has given Special Compliments to Director SKIMS Pro ( Dr ) Parviaz Koul for giving top priority to this CME at SKIMS being organised By Kashmir Chapter of AHA and AHA India. He acknowledged the outstanding Contributions of AHA India and especially in J& K where 24 MDPs are conducted so for under the Leadership of Dr Yashpal Sharma.

During day long CME Five Techinical Sessions were taken by Prof ( Dr ) Farooq A Jan on Patient Safety in Hospitals ,Professional Conduct Etiquette & Ethics Registration 2002 by Dr Yashpal Sharma,Medical Negligence by Prof ( Dr ) Sayed Tariq Qureshi,Global Health Security: Role of Hospitals in Preparedness & Response to Public Health Importance by Dr Mahesh Devnani,& Fire Safety in Hospitals by Dr Samina Mufti .
The Sessions were Moderated and Chaired by Prof (Dr ) Iffat Hassan,Prof(Dr) Ruby Rishi,Dr Shafa Deva ,Prof ( Dr ) Saleem Khan ,Prof ( Dr) Adil Hafeez & Dr Muzafar
The Valedictory Function in the evening by graced by Prof ( Dr ) Tanvir Masood Principal & Dean Govt Medical College Srinagar who was the Chief Guest and was also attended by Dr Yashpal Sharma National President Academy of Hospital Administration AHA India and Director Medical Colleges,Nursing and Paramedical Colleges J& K and Prof ( Dr ) Farooq A Jan Medical Suprintendent SKIMS Soura and President AHA Kashmir Chapter.

He stressed upon the participating Delegates to deliver it in the respective area of operations/ responsibilities.
Around 250 Delegates and Diginitaries Participated in this day long CME .
The CME was attended by Hospital Administrators,Faculty of the Medical Colleges,CMOs ,Dy CMOs, DIOs,Schemes/ Nodal officers of Various Programmes,Principal/ Faculty of Nursing/ Paramedical Colleges,Members of Community Processes team ,DPMUs& other officers & Officials .
