Doda, March 28: One person was killed and another was injured in yet another accident on Pul Doda-Kishtwar stretch of national highway 244.
The accident occurred near Shibnote bridge in Prem Nagar when a vehicle skidded off the road and rolled down on stones.
Giving details, police said that a load carrier bearing registration number JK06B-6047, carrying chickens, met with an accident near Shibnote in which one person died on the spot and another got injured.
The dead was identified as Murtaza Ahmed S/o Jamsheed Ahmed R/O Gurmul Guwari and injured was identified as Faizan Ahmed S/o Muhammad Iqbal Naik R/o Beolie Doda.
The injured person was shifted to the associated hospital GMC Doda for treatment where his situation was critical.
