A 28-year-old woman died and her husband was injured after speedy truck hits motorcycle on the Srinagar National highway near Satrina area of Kangan in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal District under the limits of Kangan police station
An police official said Dilshada Begum( 28) wife of Mohd Shareef Kangan resident of Kangan died in a traggic road accident when a truck bearing registration number JK13 9838 hit motorcycle
The deceased husband Mohammad Sharif Khan who was driving the motorcycle was also injured in the accident.
The truck driver, identified as Firdous Ahmad Wani of Kachan Ganderbal, has been arrested
Later the body of the deceased lady will handed over to her family after completion of medico-legal formalities, he said.
Meanwhile Kangan police has registered a case in this regard under FIR no. 22/2018 and further investigation has been taken up .
