Srinagar, September 15: One more jawan who was among the injured in Kokkernag encounter on Wednesday, succumbed to his wounds on Friday, taking the death toll to four.
Two army officers- Colonel Manpreet Singh, Major Ashish Dhonack, and J&K police Dy SP Himuyun Bhat – were killed in gunfight on Wednesday.
More troops have been pressed to neutralise two to three trapped terrorists belonging to Lashkar-e- Taiba hiding in Garol area of Kokkernag.
