Srinagar, March 27:
In a devastating encounter underway in Wangam area of Shopian district in south Kashmir, one of three soldiers succumbed to his injuries in military hospital Saturday night, while two others are under treatment.
Earlier, one unidentified militant was killed at the start of the encounter.
I G Kashmir Zone Vijay Kumar said that the encounter is on . The forces have sealed the area so as militants don’t escape from their hideout taking advantage of darkness.
This encounter has come two days after militants had shot dead two CRPF men at Lawaypora, on the outskirts of Srinagar two days ago.
