Pakistan has started unprovoked firing and shelling the civilian areas on this side of the Line of Control in Tarkundi sector in Rajouri sector last night.
Indian army has responded with the similar forces. But there are no immediate reports of losses from this side. The Pakistani side firing late last night with high velocity of its weaponry spilling fire and big bangs on the Indian side.
Pakistan has been targeting the Indian positions ever since it was hit by the surgical strikes on September 29th. The Indian army’s surgical strikes had caused huge loss of life and infrastructure to the terrorist camps.
“ It was unprovoked firing and we are responding in kind,” defence sources said.
The exchange of fire was going on till the last reports came in.
