In Continuation to Operation PATHSHALA-2 launched by Dr. Sunil Gupta, SSP Jammu today the 40 students of 12th class of Govt. Hr. Sec. School Jajjar Kotli given the awareness about Police Organization and working of Police Station at Jajjar Kotli Police station.
The students were educated about their role in society as responsible citizen and how they can co-operate the Police for sharing the informations i.e happenings in their area/road accidents etc.
The students were also briefed about Police Station working — how to receive complaints from general public, to deal with persons visiting the Police Stations for different purposes, to deal with L&O. They were also shown Lockup (Hawalat), Malkhana, Office of Station Clerk (Munshiat), office of Station House officer (SHO) and Computer Lab.
Besides, they were made aware of drug menace and its harmful effects in the life. They were also advised the students to obey the traffic rules and to join the Police Force to serve the nation best. They were happy with their visit to Police station. The refreshment has also given to the students.
