Srinagar, January 9: A rare show of resilience and determination shown by the pellet victim Insha Mushtaq Manzoor brought a reward for her : She was declared successful in the class tenth examination in which she had appeared despite complete blindness.
The matric results were declared on Tuesday evening .
Former chief minister and MLA Beerwah Omar Abdullah on Tuesday congratulated Insha Mushtaq, a teenager who was blinded by pellets in 2016 for this feat .
In a tweet, Abdullah said: “A special shout out to young Insha who was blinded by pellets during the 2016 protests & has cleared her 10th exams today. May Allah keep rewarding your hard work & efforts.
