Jammu, March 26: An aged man was allegedly murdered in Shaheedi chowk area of Jammu city today but the attackers haven’t been identified yet.
The man was identified as Rodh Kumar, who was working as Peon insta Pradesh Congress Committee office at Shaheedi Chowk Jammu.
Giving details, PCC chief spokesman Ravinder Sharma said that some identified man hit Kumar with hard object on his head and was shifted to GMC Jammu where he breathed last around 2.30 pm.
Sharma informed that he has spoken to ADGP Jammu Mukesh Singh and has demanded investigation and arrest of th murderer.
“He was a thorough gentleman and did speak before his death and said that somebody hit him with a hard object,” Sharma told JK News Today.
He has expressed shock over the incident and said that they are saddened with this news.
